MediaHot ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information the MediaHot mobile application ("App") handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect personal information. Specifically:
- No Personal Information: We do not collect, require, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, or any account details. The App has no accounts and no sign-in.
- Video Files You Choose: When you pick a video, the App reads it using your device's system file picker, and only for the compression you request. Compression runs entirely on your device. We never upload, transmit, store, or share your videos.
- Local App Data: The App stores a log of compression activity and your settings (such as dark mode and your chosen output folder) on your device only. This data is never sent anywhere.
- No Ads or Third-Party Tracking: MediaHot contains no advertisements and uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
- No Internet Use: The App does not need an internet connection and does not send data over the network.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To compress the videos you choose and save the compressed output to the folder you select.
- To show progress, errors, and the in-app log so you can understand and troubleshoot your compressions.
- To comply with legal obligations, if applicable.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share your videos or any usage data with anyone. There are no third-party services, analytics networks, or advertising providers integrated into MediaHot.
4. Data Storage and Security
Video compression occurs entirely on your device. No files ever leave your phone. Local app data is stored in the App's private storage on your device. No electronic device or software method is 100% immune to vulnerabilities, so please keep your device protected.
5. Children's Privacy
MediaHot is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- File Access: The App only accesses the videos you select. You can stop this at any time by not selecting a file.
- Manage Files: You have full control over your compressed video files. You can delete them directly from your device's file manager or gallery.
- Delete App Data: Uninstalling MediaHot, or clearing its storage in your device settings, removes all of its local data. You can also clear the in-app log from the Log tab.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
